Afford Your Smile

Financial Options

At our dental practice, we offer a variety of financial options to better help you. We do accept dental insurance, and for more information about our dental insurance policy, please take a look at the dental insurance section below.

Our office accepts payment in the forms of cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. For patients without dental insurance or patients whose dental insurance will not cover the cost of their treatment, we are also proud to partner with CareCredit. CareCredit is a third-party financing company that offers both low- and no-interest dental financing plans. Since its inception in 1987, CareCredit has helped patients throughout America receive the dental care they need when they need it.

To apply for CareCredit, or to learn more about the various payment options at our practice, we invite you to give our office a call today. We are always happy to help you!

Dental Insurance

If we have received your current dental insurance information at the time of your appointment, Dr. Samia Rageb Hempel and our team will be happy to file your claim for you. In order to file your claims, we will need a copy of your dental policy. Your employer is legally required to give you a copy of your policy; please be familiar with your insurance benefits.

At each appointment, you will be expected to pay the estimated fee which the insurance will not cover. By law, your insurance company is required to pay each claim within 30 days of receipt. We file all claims within a day of treatment. You are responsible for any balance on your account after 30 days whether or not your insurance has made a payment. We will be glad to send a refund once your insurance has paid us. After 60 days with no payment, an account is considered delinquent.

It is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes with your dental insurance in order to avoid delays in filing claims and receiving timely payments.

*Please understand that we file your claims as a courtesy to you. You are ultimately responsible for your insurance. We are not responsible for how your insurance company handles its claims or for what benefits they pay on a claim. We also are willing to submit a pre-treatment estimate on your behalf before the work is scheduled to find out what kind of coverage you can expect. We cannot be responsible for any errors in filing your insurance claims, as we file your claims as a courtesy to you. Please understand that we base our recommended treatment on what is best for your oral health and not on what your insurance plan covers.

Important facts about dental insurance

  • No dental insurance company will pay for 100% of every procedure.
  • Benefits are not determined by our office; they are determined by the dental insurance company.
  • Some dental insurance companies reimburse the patient directly. In these cases, it is your responsibility to forward the insurance check to our office.

To learn more about your dental insurance options at our practice, we invite you to contact our dental office today. Our knowledgeable team will be happy to answer all of your dental insurance questions.
